Woof! Hello! My name is Washington, and I am a three year-old brindle-colored mixed breed doggie. I'm a super sweet guy with a wonderful personality to match my handsome looks. What do I love most in the world, you ask? That's easy. Belly rubs! When my friend Donte tested my behavior at the shelter, one of the first things I did was roll right on my back and demand a belly rub. Ha! There's nothing better than a belly rub! When I become your best friend, I hope you'll give me belly rubs all the time. In return, I'll give you so much love and affection. I bet we'll be very happy together! I'm stilll fairly young, so, as you might imagine, I love to play with toys. I'm very polite, though, and will drop my toys for you when asked. I'll also share my food and rawhides. I'm a very good boy! I'm strong, so I pull a little on my leash right now, but I'm sure I can learn to walk more easily. I'm very smart ... I already know how to sit, stay, and come. Let's learn more commands together. I'll be a great student! What else? I'm a people-loving pooch. I just love humans! I tend to jump up a bit, but that's just because I'm so happy to see my human friends and give them a big old Washington kiss! I get all waggy and silly when I greet my favorite people, and sometimes I lick their faces in saying hello. I am stressed inside the kennel, but outdoors I do well with most dogs I meet.
